New member here and just wanted to say hello. Have been playing golf for about 2 years and more recently have been taking it more serious.

Not a member anywhere at the moment, although that may change very soon! I do enjoy playing different courses and am somewhat hesitant at restricting myself to one, however that being said I am missing out on the various benefits of being an active member somewhere!.....confused ......me too

I live near Belfast and would be keen to hear how active my local area is on this forum. I tend to envy other areas in the UK as they always seem much more active

Anyhow hello to all and looking forward to contributing to the site/forum

James

Hi James  - welcome aboard! We were in Ireland last year and played Ballybunnion, Dooks, Ring of Kerry and some others. Beautiful part of the world I say and cant wait to go back.

Might even arrange a game...

Now if you posted a game at Royal Portrush or Royal County Down, there might be a bit of interest - though it might cost a bit too! I played my first golf ever at Killymoon in Cookstown, but these days I'm more likely to be found plugging my way round the M25.

Thanks guys.

Look forward to you all returning to Ireland sometime! I doubt Royal County Down or Portrush will be part of it, given the crazy costs involved. Stunning courses all the same and ones everyone should play at least once
