Hi,

I am going to be going to LA from 1st July for 3 weeks am going to be staying with family who live just behind the golf club, they do not play golf or any other sport so are not members, I will have to travel about a hour to get game of golf in.  

Someone said if I post in a golf forum in US, I might be as to get a member to sign me in if I explained that I am a junior player who has just gone down to a 9 handicap. Does anyone on here have any ideas which forum would be best.

Even if I could use there pratice faciility that would be good?

Hi Nathan,

Why not just contact the club directly and give them your story? I am sure they will happily accomadate you, especially when you tell them your British!

Tried that and they said no not even to pratice they said I need a member to sign me in, so unless I can find a member will have to go miles to pratice
