In the past created a game for memebrs only. I've just received a cancelation so I have one free space. I'd like to open this game to all friends or even make it "open invite". The access option is greyed out and I cannot change it from "group only" I cannot see any reason why, as an organiser, I cannot change this. I can change everything else, e.g., course, time, the number of player, etc. Janusz

Because you created the game from within the Group section it is automatically created as a 'Group Game' and is tied to the group for purposes of who can join, who is automatically informed about the game, after game maintenance of the group leaderboard etc. Currently, if your group is an 'open group', other TSG members can join the group and then join the group game. If we allowed amendment of the game type as you suggest eg from 'Group Members Only' to 'Open Invite' you would lose the system link to the group (which is probably not what you want). A better solution would be to provide an additional flag enabling a Group Game to be opened up by the Organiser to either Friends or any TSG member. Would anyone else find this useful?

I am afraid this does not work for me. I have 16 regular players in my group so they have priority in joining my games. If there are places left I am more than happy for others ("friends" or other TSG members) to join but only after the group members had a chance to join or if there is a cancellation. I have a game this Sunday (26th) with 2 cancellations but I cannot open the game for non-member so there will be 14 of us playing. janusz

Hi Janusz, not sure if this makes sense and I know its not the final solution. But... could you not add another game for friends only for the remaining 2 places you have putting a note saying why its only for two people. If there are still places and you have exhausted your 1st and 2nd options then add a third game as an open invite to all TSG members. I am sure if you state your reasoning behind it and let people know your regular group gets first call as in any swindle of mates they will see what you are up to. And hopefully the TSG boys will see how its working and come up with a solution Regards Steve
