Dear TSGers,

As we come to the end of our second month of the TSG MatchPlay Championship (sponsored by The Altonwood Group) it's good to see so much gentlemanly (and gentle-womanly) behaviour on the course and so much fun being had. I have throughly enjoyed reading the match reports - what a friendly bunch we all are!!

We are now down to the last sixteen ... and whilst its not quite 'squeaky bum time' just yet, I suspect tensions will begin to mount as players vy for a place in the Quarter-Finals.

So without further ado, here are the ties for the third round - once again Independently chosen and verified by the lovely Amy at The Altonwood Group ...

1. John Amos (16) Vs Andy Parker (11) or Matt Sutton (19)

2. Damian Benstead (24) Vs Michael Hanley (14)

3. Robin Butler (19) or Pete Mayo (22) Vs Tony Clayton (22)

4. Dave Izen (13)  Vs Roger Dickson (19)
5. Howard Davis (22) Vs David Smith (26)

6. Paul Smith (18) Vs Jack Shelton (11)

7. Ian Fykin (17) Vs Steve Goss (18)

8. Howard Stander (28) Vs Kamal Lahkini (11) or Russell Foxwell (21)

*TSG Handicaps correct at the time of draw - please check latest Handicaps of your opponent before your game! CONGU handicaps may be used but where possible a TSG Handicap should take precedence.

All ties to be completed by the end of June. The Quarter-Final draw will take place late June and will be posted here and on the TSG MatchPlay Championship group page.

Who's your money on? #Discuss

Good luck everyone!

I really think John Amoss is the dark horse here,he is the one to watch.
This is where it starts getting interesting, and more intense.
John Amoss the coolhand Luke,if I manage to get thro' to the quater finals I hope I get drawn against him.
No nerves here only positive thinking, thats what Alan Haywood told me.
DONT GIVE NOTHING BUT TAKE EVERYTHING put the pressure on early usually works
