Hi,

Is it possible to amend the games field to allow more players to join an event as standby when the total number allocated by the games creator is full.

Reason for request:

So that in the event of someone taking their name off the event, the first person on standby can take that persons place. This process would help all event creators to avoid a situation whereby under the current process a player takes their name off their event but it is unlikely that someone will join especially at short notice. In addition, if an event gets over subscribed the creator may decide to increase the number of participants, at present anyone wishing to play can only make it known by way of discussion within the event.

Suggestion:

If a standby system could be put in place, maybe it could work by way of those on standby being greyscaled or by creating another area within the games page that states standby.

Thought I'd give this a bump as it's a good suggestion.

As well as this good suggestion I would also like to be able to add my friends to a game when I create it.

Sometimes I know when I create a game that one, or two of my regular playing partners are also going to play.

So I create a game for four players, knowing that my friend and I are going to play, which leaves only two places left.

But because I cannot add my partner immediately to the game there is a chance that other members might get their names down first.
