Several members have raised questions about the Enter My Scores process so we thought we'd offer the following explanation:

'Base'/'blank' Scorecards:

The 'base'/'blank' scorecard detail for a particular course/tee combination needs only to be entered onto the system once (it is then available to anyone who subsequently wants to enter their score for the course/tee).  The detail is entered in one of two ways - either in advance via the 'Course Details' page ('Scorecards' tab) OR via the 'Enter My Scores' wizard (by the first person tries to enter their score for that course/tee).

Enter My Scores wizard:

When entering your score (via your 'Home' page) you select either the 'Game' (if arranged via TSG) or the 'Course' & 'Date' (if not arranged via TSG) then the system will present you with a list of course/tee combinations it knows about (ie previously entered 'base'/'blank' scorecard detail - see above).

If the course/tee you played is presented to you in the list you have to click on it to select it (it will change colour). Then, having selected the course/tee played, you can click on 'Next' to move forward to the part where you enter your score (with the 'base'/'blank scorecard presented to you for addition of your scores).

If you do not select a course/tee from the list (and instead just go straight to click 'Next') the system thinks you've played a course/tee it doesn't yet have the detail for and so you are required to enter all the details of the scorecard ie SSS, length, par, stroke index for each hole PLUS your score (if you, or anyone, subsequently want to enter another scorecard for the same course/tee the base scorecard detail would be presented in the list of 'known' course/tees).

I've just added some of my scorecards, both old ones and the latest.

The problem I've had is that the first three cards I entered were for my handicap, but the system has shown me has having a handicap of 16, which is my present handicap.

How can I alter the system so that it calculates my handicap from the first three scorecards?
