Normally play at South Essex. Went back in December and it was the roughest I've ever seen but assuming it to be far worse now.
Anywhere acceptable at the moment?

i've always found that south essex is the benchmark for essex courses so if that is unplayable i think you would be hard pressed to find anywhere, although the epping bandits are playing toot hill on monday and the latest update was no temp tees or greens just carry only

We played south essex yesterday and i thought it was very playable, in fact the greens were in fantastic shape given the weather. Obviously there was a lot of squelchy areas and some temporary tees but generally fine, all in my opinion obviously

Thanks all. Is slightly irrelevant now as my playing buddy has gone AWOL!
Maybe next weekend.

Alex you should join TSG. TSG buddies don't do AWOL!! They just play golf.
Join now, its the best investment you'll make in golf..
Ps. See that handicap come down. yes down
PPs. Last year I played over 70 games through TSG only. I’ve play over 35 courses in Essex. 2 years ago I was 25 handicapper now 19. All down to TSG!
