Played The Championship Course In August 2008 With My Mate for his Birthday. The Course is absolutely amazing and if you going to play it i would advise in hiring a Caddie as they know the course like the back of there hand. Well worth the £120 would play again anytime.

I played Carnoustie a couple of years ago and it was a great experience (especially as I managed to get 2 birdies!) but I do have to admit that the weather could not have been kinder to us, like a calm, summer's day. Threre was a pro comp a week or two later - think it was Dunhill Links - and the weather was blowing a gale with horizontal rain! Not sure I would have thought the course was so great then - I know it's only the 6th but anyone got any spare balls.......

Lost your ball off the first tee? I'm guessing out of bounds down the left

Live 10 mins away from this brilliant golf course. Luckily enough get to play it a few times a year, and have our club match against the Carnoustie Caley Club every year on it. Also played the Scottish Amauter there this year and the place was in amaculate condition.
