Hi all,  after a considerable lay off, involving a lot of will power on my part, I have succumbed to the lure of the site putting game. Half an hour later the best I could manage was 5. Without trying to cause hours of frustration for anyone else , just wondering what other high scores are?  Do I need to keep practicing?

Hi Penny, good to see someone with strong willpower, my problem is the game is simple to operate,( I can't  coordinate with more than one digit). It's a good job as yet it's not compatible with my Kindle or I would be playing even more, .
HI Richard, as yet 6 is just a dream, I think I need quality practice not quantity.
Hi Ian, a live putting championship might not work on site, but the pro plus would go down a treat.

HI again Greg.... if you play off 17 you can't be that bad a putter!! (on a real course, I mean...!)  Yeah, we should have a live putting tournament - cos I would stand a chance in that against you men.... certainly wouldn't in a proper game - as I kinda tiny - and can't hit the ball that far!  Altho' my coach said that was NOTHING to do with it.... its timing and technique.....!  Bah....!!

I'm not the one to give tips Penny, but i believe your coach is right and that's why we all have such different handicaps and can still play together.
Did i mention i just managed a 7 on the putting game, off now for a lie down.

My 2 golfing brothers would also agree with you, Greg, siting that Michelle Wie is stick thin but can hit a ball as far as Tiger Woods...!!  I kinda see where you all coming from, but if you are tiny like me, without massive shoulders and big build, its hard to imagine that I could hit a ball much further than I have done in the last 3 years!  But as you say, we can all still play together cos of the handicaps - and we all kinda arrive at the greens at roughly the same time!

Ha ha!! - "a lie down"......  well done you - for getting 7!!  Maybe when i get back from Mallorca i'll give it another go!!
