Seems as though this golf course is no more !

Maybe it will be the first of a number to be affected by the Credit Crunch.

Just thought I would try to be positive on this lovely Sunday evening - it's p.....ing down here in Sissinghurst !!!!

Hi Bob - where did you hear this?

Kent National was one of my favourites - it would be a great shame if anything happened to it - Memories of that damn bunker on 18th will haunt me forever lol. Serious though when is it closing????

Have just rung them - they are closed - apparently they are looking for buyers.

They sold the club house - not apparently the course?? Shame it's a very good course for the price.

I seem to recall having a good game of golf with some good, fun company around that course on a nice sunny day so yes, definitely a course worth saving! (but they do need to reduce the distance from green to next tee - some are ridiculous (400yds+).
