Hi
Just asking a question , I need to buy some Hedgehog wheels for a trolley, do I go for the FULL new wheel approach. Where I buy replacement wheels or Hoppa  wheel covers or the GLIDERS look funky would prefer the cheaper option of Hoppa or Gliders but don't know if I am wasting time and Money.

Never seen the point in going for the complete hedgehog wheels. The covers that I bought from Direct Golf had clips for attaching to pull trolleys and screws and adapters for attaching onto the tyres and they work well.

The problem with Gliders is that clubs that insist on winter wheels will sometimes not allow gliders because they do not recognise them (even if they are actually better for the course). Last winter I called six clubs and asked if Gliders were allowed when they wanted winter wheels, four said no, of which one changed their mind when I sent them a link.

I decided not to buy gliders as a result.

I now have a remote control electric trolley with hedgehog wheels and to be frank those wheels do more damage to fairways than the ordinary wheels, but if the club insists on them ...

 1. Steve ,,, you drive too fast
2. I bought the auto trolley from gokart so it won't wheel spin as it goes the speed I am
3. I bought wheels as I have had the clip ons, and after a winter or 2, they start sliding off, as a lot of clubs insist on hedgehog front wheel as well as the drive wheels, figured easier to get on a course without carrying

The gokart auto trolley is excellent, I tried one and was impressed. If mine hadn't come up on ebay I probably would have bought a gokart.
