2015 is off to a bad start....I learn that Ian Mullins is now giving ME 1 shot. It's down to the range for me when things get this bad. :-(

By chance Alan i seem to have stumbled upon a useful practice formula.

1. Find a nearby venue where there is a show/exhibition/fair that is likely to be popular with your significant other half. (In this case Five Lakes)
2. Try to make sure this venue also has good golf facilities.
3. Offer to drive your soh to the venue.
4. "Discover" to your surprise the venue has golf facilities.
5. Take a few clubs along just in case they will let you play. (Of course they will, you will have already checked)
6. On the day make sure soh arrives at the time of their chosing. (As long as that leaves a reasonable amount of time for good all round practice before lunch) In this case 2 hours.
7. Meet up with soh for lunch and make sure you sound sincere when you complain about how cold/windy/wet etc is it outside.
8. After around an hour for a nice light lunch, soh resumes prowling around show.
9. You grab clubs and head out for a pre arranged nine holes.
10. An hour and three quarters later you find you have scored 21 points, so you're happy.
11. Soh is happy as they have taken as long as they like looking at things that only they understand.

Greg, thats what it takes to be a good husband/soh, these days...cunning, guile and daring.  :-)
...and when Mr Mullins eventually sacrifices his freedoms..he must learn this.  We have, and have the battle scars to prove it.

Alan do you know Mr. Mullins secret? Has he found courses with all left to right doglegs?
My own findings just go to prove to me that even tho we know we should practice, how many of us actually find or make time for proper practice? I intend with soh's assistance to devote more time to practice whenever possible, hopefully meaning time spent on the course will be as fruitful as Ian's recent outings.
