Hi,

I realise that most TSG members are 'doers' rather than 'watchers' but this is just a quick note for anyone going to The Open in July as a spectator....

I am attending with a group but because of a few dropouts I have been left with a few hotel rooms that I have prepaid and which are non refundable.

The rooms are at the Travelodge Dundee Central which is a great location for the event.

The rooms are for 4, 5 or 8 day stays and I am happy to price at less than half the amount that they are selling for on the Travelodge website if that helps anyone who is planning or wishes to attend.

Do you have spare tickets to The Open or is it just the rooms?

No its just rooms that are available.

My understanding is that tickets are fully available and are likely to remain so at standard prices on http://www.theopen.com/Tickets. I have some season tickets for the week but no spare ones.

Hope you enjoy if you are going - I saw Tiger win at St Andrews many years ago and am really looking forward to seeing the action there.
