 Hi everyone

I'm thinking about purchasing a Rollygolf - hop on golf trolly but I'm 6 foot 3 and weigh 16 stone.  I'm wondering  if any TSG members have tried one and can give me any advice. My problem is I have an arthtitic ankle which makes walking difficult after about 9 holes.  I know hiring a buggy is an option but i love the exercise I get from walking the course plus I think the between hole chat is a great part of the game especially with TSG members who are great fun

All comments gratefully received

I don't think there's any pricing because it's a bespoke item. You have to go to their premises, be measured up, choose colours, extra add ons, etc, and then you're given your price. I saw something on one golfing site that the ball park figure was between £5000 & £6000.

Found a link to pricing:

The load capacity is 180 kilos - so David, there's your answer. You're nowhere near too heavy for it but you'll be quite a few pounds lighter if you buy one.

 Hi everyone

Thanks for your comments and the info you have kindly found to help me.  I'm am certainly going to cheshunt to try their skateboard, thanks Steve

In the end I went  for a standard Pro Rider Electric trolley. also the lady I go to for physio, luckily a keen golfer, is referring me to NHS medical aids to see if i can get a specially designed golf shoe / boot to help me.  She has also recommended an ankle brace which I  have worn over 18 holes with minimum discomfort.

So hopefully ill be hacking my way golf courses on my own two feet for a few more years yet.  I am however dropping some heavy hints to my kids that for my 70th they might like to chip in for a rolley

Thanks again
Dave Chapman

Happy to do that Howard.  My wayward drives should  really put it through its paces.  watch this space!
