After seeing the banner advertising Turkey as a golf destination, what would be the best time of the year to play golf there, so it is hot enough to enjoy the pool/the sea and play golf at reasonable temperature.????

I know now quite a few TSG have written reviews (Nev, John...), but if anyone else could share their experience on this Forum, it  would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Brigitte

I recently went to Antalya, Belek in April. In terms of golf weather - it was fine to play in (low 20's) but the pools were too cold, although my wife still pushed me in -_- I'd recommend visiting from May - Sept. to get some guaranteed good weather for the golf, pools/beach! can't wait to go back.

Hi Brigitte, went to Sueno, Belek, in September 2 years back. Hot, but not uncomfortable, and fine for beach and the pool. Was a great hotel as 2 golf courses on site, as well as all the facilities, beach, indoor/outdoor pools.  Everything was all inclusive including the golf so we hardly left the resort, but did play Gloria too. Again the course was very good, and hotel apparently better than Sueno but that is reflected in the price as well.
Would definitely go back, although reckon you should check out that Botswana course too!!

Thank you Robin, Turkey was on my  list before Botswana came about, thanks to my new friend.  So now I concentrate on South Africa.  Hope you and your family will join.  We are expected with open arms.

thanks for your useful recommendation
