Just a brief note to thank the guys at Bletchingly for taking good care of the TSG again.  Always made to feel welcome here, hospitality always top notch.

In the words of Steve the Course Pro, greens were 'sporty' is a bit of an understatement and proved much more of a challenge than usual.  Dry and hard - good for long drives, not quite so good for short putts.

Big thank you to TSG guys for organising the day and I hope everyone enjoyed the outing as much as I did.

Those that attended played a part in making he whole experience fun and enjoyable - I am pleased that it wasn't just my imagination about the unplayability of some greens..

Congratulations to winners in all categories and especially a welcome to guests - do feel free to join in again....

Thanks to Ian and team for making this event special and I look forward to the next one.

Would like to echo what Steve has said. It was a great day, well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. The course was very nice with some challenging greens which we were all tested on. Thanks Ian for organising this and I look forward to entering many more of these days and meeting up with the fabulous TSG members.
Congratulations to Steve(The Power) and Judy Lilley for their victories in their sections.

The  sunniest TSG Open , the most challenging greens, a great crowd, an excellent organisation from Mr Mullins and as always a most pleasant welcome from Bletchingley staff.

Lovely to see some new faces (and not so new), some friendly guests and a record attendance from TSG Ladies.

Warm congratulations to the worthy winners, thank you to all those who contributed to make this a great day to remember.  We all appreciated how special TSG is , how much effort Is put in by Ian Mullins.

Looking forward to see all the photos.

Vive Le TSG.....
Brrigitte😀

PS:  forgot to mention a great sum of £500 was raised for 2 selected charities.

WHAT A GREAT DAY !! Well done to Ian and the team for putting on such a good golf event and raising such a good amount of money for two charities. Congratulations to Judy for winning today and carrying on your fine form from April's TSG Masters and to Steve for taking the Men's Title, 28 points, a worthy score. Also, many congrats to all the other winners today on the toughest greens I've played for many a year. Lastly, thank you to my three playing partners today, Brigitte, Anna & Matt for making our day so enjoyable and for sharing your sausages and chocolate cake, beauty, brains and food, a perfect combination. Here's to next year, long live TSG !! Mark x

Heartfelt thanks to Ian for a wonderful day and all the organisation and time put into making it such a success.

Despite being down on attendance, this did not distract from the days' enjoyment and although the greens were a challenge to put it mildly, we were all in the same boat and sometimes that is not a bad thing.

Many thanks to Bletchingley for their hospitality and to Beat The Pro Ben for a cheery welcome and showing most of us how it should be done.

Thanks to my playing partners Steve Duffy and Martyn Speedy Miller for lots of good banter and great teamwork.

Nice to meet Ginny and Ruth at the dinner table and hope to have a game with you in the future. Special mention and congratulations to Ruth for runner up.  It was a close one.

Finally, I would like to nominate Bromley Sparks as my chosen charity.  They are small and every little helps.  I know they will be so grateful for the donation.  This charity is chosen to support my Lady Captain of Royal Blackheath.  I will share details with Ian for the future newsletter.

I hope everyone enjoyed their day and that you all had a safe journey home.  Many thanks to Tuan for being my chauffeur.

Hope to see a good turnout at the Par 3 Pedham event.  Bring it on.

An excellent day, professionally planned, smoothly run and warmly hosted by Bletchingly as always. Thank you Ian for *all* the hard work, to my playing partners (Pete, John & Damien) who were all great fun to play with and to our worthy winners in particular Steve and Judy. It was interesting to hear the conversations in the clubhouse about so many bad rounds but even though I returned just 18 points I felt I hadn't actually played that badly. I can almost forgive myself the 2 holes where I hit the green in regulation and walked off with no points because having played those greens in more favourable conditions I appreciate just how good your putting game needed to be as they dried out more and more during the heat of the afternoon. And so to all those who returned mid-20s upwards playing off three-quarters in exceptional conditions I think you should be really rather pleased with yourselves!

I think Matt has summed it up beautifully.  None of us should feel bad about our scores.

Well done Ian on putting together such a superb event!  Loved the company, everyone was so friendly. Had great fun playing with Roger, Tom and Tuan.  The scene was set for me when I hit a seven iron at the first from 165 yards only to go 30 yards through the back of the green!
I liked the layout of the course but could not play it in those conditions especially not knowing where I was going.  First time I have taken a wedge to a 145 yard par 3!!  I beat the pro which made my day ...he could not hold the green either.
Well played Judy and Steve and to my playing partner Roger who fought tooth and nail to scramble a decent score when he partners floundered.
Believe it or not our yellow ball was going great until the 15th ( it had only blobbed twice and had a birdie and many pars on its score), but alas it now resides in the yellow ball room 101.

Thanks again to all at the TSG
