Had a nasty golfing accident on Sunday. I had a special 40th birthday present, a round at The Grove. On the 14th, I was walking into a bunker (as you do when you're me, a lot), missed my footing, my shoe gripped, and CRACK!
I'll spare the nasty details, but I broke my ankle, have another small break below my knee, and stuffed a tendon up! Had surgery earlier today, and I now come with metalwork!
Needless to say, you won't be seeing me on a golf course for a bit, probably not until I'm sure I'm 100%, probably the New Year.
But I will be back, and will play The Grove again!
Ian/admins - may need to discuss my forthcoming subs renewal :-)

Unlucky Gary... but answer the question we all want to ask but feel as though we shouldn't...
...How many shots did it take to get out of the bunker...

No shots, mainly gas and air :-)
Back at home now for a long wait for this to heal, the closest I'll get to playing again this year is "The Golf Club" on my Xbox! Will be back eventually though.
