Congratulations to winners at Pedham Place, a challenging format and some 'sporty' greens.

Thank you to Ian for another good day out and the Par 3 competitiion is a good way to see just what shape your short game is in... I'd be happy to try again next year.

Venue were good to us (as usual), althioug tea cups were a little 'dainty' food was served at just the right time.

It was a hot day and the bar ran out of ice... but the air conditioning was working nicely in the function room.

Maybe 4 loops was a bit too long on such a hot day - where the wind blew (as usual) at least it remained dry (first time I've been there when it didnt rain).

Anyway I had an enjoyable day out with some good company.

Best wishes to all...

Another great day organised by Ian. My first time at Pedham Place which I found to be a fair challenge. It was a very hot day and we were all thankful for the air conditioned room where lunch and prize giving took place. Congratulations to Brian Scott on his win and all other prize winners. Looking forward to the same again next year. Speedy

Always fun hanging out with TSGers on tournament days. I think the Par 3 Academy course was in excellent condition and the whilst the greens got quicker, as they got 'baked' (it was 31 degrees yesterday!), my scores suggest that my short game needs some work.

I agree with Steve that perhaps x4 loops of the same course in one day is too much but perhaps the conditions made in harder than it normally would be. Maybe just play x3 loops and add a putting comp to finish the day instead? Something to consider for future comps perhaps.....

The new Par 3 Competition event was a great success thanks to the excellent organisation by the Team, we appreciate your hard work in planning & running the day, all these score cards to be calculated or checked, trophies to be handed, quiz, photos etc, etc...

The loop of 4 x 9 was perfectly balanced and to be repeated I hope, yes the very hot weather did affect some of us but so happy that the sun was shining.  The cool function room was most welcome.

Congratulations to the many winners .

Looking forward to the 2nd Par 3 Comp in 2016. Make sure to join this fun Event.

Thanks again To the TSG Team for a great day.

 Hi all.

Big thank you to Ian and Mark for all thier efforts in organising another great competition day.

Love the format as it stands and to be honest it was the first nine of the afternoon that ruined my card, so stopping after that would have just been plain depressing.

You'll never here me complain that there was too much sunshine. Got to take it when we can, although my dodgy ankle tan lines may differ in opinion.

Congrats to the eventual winners.

Bring on next year's comp, when I will be taking home a prize.

Thank you very much to Mark and Ian for introducing Par 3 Competition into TSG social calendar.
What a great idea!
I am sure I won't be mistaken saying that we all had fantastic day on Sat, full of sun, warmth, good spirit and laughter. It was all very well organised with perfect choice of the venue and perfect timing...
That beautiful summery weather we had on the day makes me thinking that at least one member of The Team must have some connections up there...

Looking forward to the next year.
In the meantime big congratulations to all the winners of this year's edition...
Well done guys!

Anna

I thoroughly enjoyed myself, thanks very much.

I thought that course was fantastic, by a country mile the best par 3 course I've played, great greens and terrific tee boxes.

Sorry for my delayed reply, not getting much of a life in my new job. Wonderful day always helped by the sun shining and high five to Ian and Mark for all their hard work.  Organising a 2-ball match play is a challenge; organising a 4-ball almost soul-destroying, organising a social day is on a different level and until you have done it, you just don't appreciate how many t's (or should I say tees) need to be crossed and i's dotted at least a thousand times, as well as balancing a bucket of water on your head, doing the day job and trying to fit in your own life - hats off to you guys.  I am especially appreciative, as attending these events allow me to relax, as I event manage for a living so thank you for all you do to make the TSG events run smoothly as well as meet the balance of socialising and having fun.

Definitely keep the 4 rounds please.  I think a putting comp would not work as not everyone would go for it.  The "shotgun" start is perfect.  Everyone is out on the course (some of us were delayed - no names mentioned) and we are all pretty much coming in together.

Great to meet some new peeps and look forward to being paired up with you in future games.

A Wembley wave (lets' change it to a TSG wave) and huge thanks to Ian.
