I know this does not refer to YOU, but

Why do golfers not repair divots?

Why do golfers not repair pitch marks?

Why do golfers not rake bunkers?

Why - easy they are disrespectful of ALL other golfers.

Rant over

 I would add-

why don't they pick up their ball after the first ten hits have only gone 200 yards?

why don't they wave people through before spending 15 minutes looking for their crappy range ball?

why do they start chatting, marking scores, cleaning clubs, on the green after they've holed out?

why do clubs not police this behaviour and ban them?

Ha! I'm reminded of the old golfing adage....

"If there's no one in your four-ball that is guilty of slow play.....it's probably you!"

:o)

Why do some golfers leave their trollies in the middle of the fairway or in the middle/front of the green or on the wrong side of the green to where the next hole is ............ also when calling through ........... remember to do all these things.

Why is it that when you build yourself up looking forward to a day's golf especially when it's for such a worthy cause, spending all that time preparing for it that on the journey there your car decides to have other ideas.
Seems like it needs a couple of new fuel injectors looking at nearly £1000 to get it road worthy again
It could only happen when it's something I've been so looking forward to

GGGrrrrrrrrrr that's it rant over should of stayed at home !!!!!!

Just remember - a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work.

 That depends Geoff.

If your job is a Top 10 PGA Golfer and you've just won The Open at St. Andrews, picked up a cheque for a million quid and then go home with your Model Wife. That's a pretty good day at work and might just beat a bad day on the golf course, ha ha !!

I can't argue with that Mark. I was referring to us mere mortals.

Why can't I putt?  I played my two companions off the park tee to greens, then three putted so many times!
One guy hardly hit the fairway then sunk putts from 60, 40 & 35 feet!!
The other fellow rattled in a couple of ten footers, I was leaving six footers on the side of the cup?  My stroke is smooth the direction is excellent, but no oompf.  Thinking of changing from PV1s to the DT solo see if it has a bit more roll??

We have good days and bad days. When my tee to green game is on song my putting goes too. Putting is usually the strong part of my game but occasionally its the worst. Its rarely the putter. Practice is the only answer. If you are always missing right or left get an eye test as I could be vision related. The important thing is not to get downhearted, putting is tough this time of year.

Why do golfers turn up at golf course, aware there is a dress code, then moan that the club are being too strict on dress code! they advertise dress code on the wibsites, so why dress yourself inappropriately and then complain about it when pulled aside by the club starter?

Why do golfers complain that the rough is too difficult, when the rough they are complaining about is 30-40 yards from the fairway?
