Has anyone got any suggestions for a course they've played recently in the East or North of London, preferably within the M25, that's in good condition and not waterlogged?

Thanks,
Dave.

South of the River: Purley Downs (near Croydon), not sure if weekends are open to Visitors... Drains well as chalked based.

Epsom, Surrey, near the Racecourse. Rarely any temporary and 1st class greens.

East Brighton, Sussex. Never any temps.

I mentioned these 2 in case you ant to travel a little further afield ....

Hi Dave (Happy New Year) course in best condition north of the river is probably Panshanger... Although it was frozen at the weekend the ground was firm enough and not at all soggy/boggy.

This place always seems to be playable even when others in the area are waterlogged...

Pine ridge always a cheapo good round....echo Brigitte's Epsom tip as we both played that the other day and greens were unbelievable, chiltern forest is chalk and normally OK bar 2 holes, Blackwell heath but they do like a temp there, Clandon Regis pretty good. There are some north and west London tracks.

North....sandy lodge and aldenham if money not a restriction!

Just got back from The Oxfordshire....awesome condition
