Dear TSG MatchPlayers,
The 1st round draw has taken place....
Remember, first round ties to be played by end of April.
Format MUST be agreed before the first ball leaves the tee ground - Play from yellows, whites - just as long as it's been agreed.
Those with a home tie get first dibs on course choice but be sensible, don't make your opponent drive to your front door.
If you're drawn against those of the opposite sex, please consult Brigitte on 'Mixed MatchPlay' rules.
Failure to complete your game in the designated period will result in a coin being tossed to see who goes through.
You must have three scorecards entered onto the system by the first match, all played within last 12 months.
For those that are new to the site. Please ensure all matches are played in what has now become known as the 'Spirit of TSG!'
For those lucky enough to get a bye in the first round, sit and relax.

Ah silly me. I've been clicking on the matchplay button on the top right menu, seen myself on the group list, and not realised it was for 2014. Had been looking forward to the draw as well. Oh well.
Does anyone with a bye want to play me?

Many thanks to Paul Smith for the game today on a great course - very close match but I'm glad to say I managed to hold my nerve and come through to win 4 and 2. Thanks also to David Allchorne for joining us.
