THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.................. to all the players that turned up yesterday and i hope you all had a great time and yet again i managed to pick a day with no rain....... well done to H who won by 1 point with 39 points, also to Iain who won nearest the pin and longest drive ( approx 273 yards ) also a special thank you to Iain who came all the way from KINGS LYNN just for this game and provided a signed football from Norwich football club ( ok no name calling....ha ha ha ), also thank you to all that donated a prize and even more so to those who made a donation, or bided for one of the items................WE RAISED £230.......... Last but not least well done ROLY who won the Crown Golfers Tournament 2008, with Old Boy Ron being running up.........see you for a game in December, if not i'll see you in january for the start of our new tournament..........AGAIN THANK YOU

Excellent stuff, well done for raising £230 for charity and well done to Roly for winning the comp. Any pictures available?

Can I just say, that I feel I won this because I was able to turn up to more events than other participants. I am, by no means, the best crown golfer, (even with the handicap allowance) however I will be playing next year and will defend the title with all my magical powers, guile and cunning. next year will be different & the winner will have to work extra hard. So Crown golfers 2009 bring it on! I will not give it up lightly. Me & padraig, we want it bad! 2 in a row, here we go!

Well you'll be pleased to know i let you win roly even tho i played in every game bar 2, but in 2009 i will be playing to winthis time round, so hopefully other group members will also post games, but i am willing to keep the batten going, just let me know what days and courses some of you would like to play......... or just post a group game yourself.......2009 tournament will be enjoyed by all and even more players will be fighting it out to get the place in the final and of course to take the TSG title, GOOD LUCK ALL, we are coming for you roly .......... ha ha ha
