Just a short note to  thank my  3 Teams for making this Santa Classic such a great day, so much fun and laughter in a beautiful setting, even though we were given the furthest holes in the shotgun start.

We were blessed with excellent warm & sunny weather, Henry the VIII had put a good spell on us. (for those who are not familiar with the golf course, it is situated in the Royal Park, and Hampton Court Palace overlooks  a few holes.....)

It was hard work to put the Teams together, specially so after last minute cancellation due to sudden illness, but thanks to John Whitfield the place was filled by his very good golfer friend, and the last missing place by a kind member of HAMPTON Court Palace GC.

Mulled wine and mince pies went down a treat, the 2 course Lunch was tasty & plentiful.

Well done to Lesley Davies (Paul Thorne's friend ) for winning the longest drive  (270 yards, or 230yards ?)) on the 14th, Par 5, I promise I won't mention what happened afterwards .
We had a nearest the line drive @ the 9th, and £10 guaranted you a sleeve of balls, entry in a draw, and some money went to the 2 Charities supported by the Club: Cancer Research and Kingston Samaritans.
Thank you all again and see you next year.      THE END
