Golf Forums - Trying to help a friend

 Hi Everyone.

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me to help another person to try and obtain a golf club scorecard from The Swinley Forrest Golf Club in I think the Surrey-Berkshire area..

The gentleman in question is a good friend of mine he is a French -Canadian Jean-Pierre who lives in Quebec Canada and has helped me out quite often with scorecards that I have sought from Canada.

He has been seeking for quite a while to obtain this scorecard for his special collection, so I thought that I would try and repay him for his kindness to me by trying to obtain one for him

If anyone has a spare scorecard new, old or just no longer wanted I would like to buy one from you and I will pay for the postage.

I hope that I do not offen anyone by my request.

Thank you both very much for your kindness in trying to help me regarding Swinley Forrest Golf Club, I tried Google and found out there was no Website, I also visited their Facebook site but apart from their phone number there's not much more contact information.

I might visit their Facebook site again and maybe leave a message there, but I was hoping that just maybe one of our fellow golfers might have played this course, and just might have had a spare card in their golf bag.

 This is an exclusive club, and its still running but they dont need to advertise as its rated as a top heathland course, and expensive and its surely not listed on golfteetimes! I am sure if he wrote to them they would send him a scorecard.

 Hi Bob, don't know if you've had any luck in your search for a swinley forest gc scorecard yet but i have just noticed that there is one for sale on ebay over here, don't know if you can access it from over there but if you can it's an unused one listed for £3.25.
Hope this helps in some way.

I'm sorry to say no luck as yet but I am still hopeful, I have contacted a few friends who are also scorecard collectors and maybe I will have some luck there.

Thank you for letting me know about the person on E-Bay selling the cards I have visited his site before, but I am loath to buy one from him, but I may have to as a last resort.
