Always a pleasure to go to Spain and play golf. This time I discovered 4 new golf courses that I shall briefly describe. More detailed reviews and my scores will be posted later on.
LA ENVIA, 1/4
Hillly, challengng, buggies recommended.
PLAYA SERENA, 2/4
Flattish with very challenging water holes.
A frienldy starting and finishing hut, coffee/bar.
ALMERIMAR 3/4
Some testing double legged Par 5s, very long Par 3s, nice water holes.
ALBORAN, 4/4
A favourite of our group for many reasons, some holes reminiscent a little of Desert Springs GC....
All the above courses have the most wonderful views of the Sierra Nevada chain of mountains providing a great background, beautiful colours with the perfect blue sky.
The trip was organised through a small company called "Click Away"/ Mojacar run by Ken Curtis and his wife. We booked our own flights & travelled just before Monarch's troubles, how lucky was that !!!!!!!!
