OK, come on I know you are dying to tell everyone what you got for Christmas.

Two things I would like to know....

1)  What did you get?

2)  Have you used it yet?

Go on, give us your answers...

Russ

Right seeing as I post this I'll start.

Anything to do with golf and my wife lets me buy it, then she wraps it and then I look surprised when I open it.  It's a tradition after all!

I was given two golf items for Christmas, a Canterbury Baselayer Cold Turtle Neck long sleeve shirt, and a setup training aid.

No, I haven't tried them yet but I'll give a review when I have.

Well, again based on an unwritten 'rule', I don't usually receive golf related Christmas presents but this year I received a box of 15 Cougar XC-3 golf balls.  Who the hell are Cougar??????

Right,

As a new golfer this was a novelty for the family this year, i got a nice new trolly complete with bag, plus a number of clothing items, new driver also to come upon my own trial down at direct golf. All used Saturday at Stapleford Abbotts in the frezzing cold weather.

Oh not forgetting a pack of west ham golf balls, wont be using them as i doubt i will get many points haha!

Cheers

Andy

I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THEM BUT I GOT BALLS, SWEATER, GLOVE, WET SUIT AND ONE OF THOSE TELESCOPE TYPE GIZMOS THAT CALCULATE DISTANCE TO THE PIN (I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WERE'NT ALLOWED TO USE THEM !!)

ANYWAY SHALL GIVE THEM ALL A TRY IN THE SEASON

BEST WISHES TO ALL FOR A SUCCESSFUL GOLFING 2009

what I want to know is: who wants to play golf in a hurricane anyway? I know what you mean by Scottish weather - I have a brother who lives in Aberdeen who owns several sets of waterproofs so that he can always find a dry set!

As for christmas, I didn't get a lot, but my computer got a lovely virus.

I did ask for a nice new Wilson Staff tour bag ... but didn't. I also asked for a big WS tour umbrella but got told that on no account was she going to buy an umbrella ... nothing to do with me really wanting one or anything! I did however receive quite an impressive new Nikon D90 digital SLR :-)

The Nikon digital SLR costs more than all the golfing stuff you asked for. So you're ahead in the game I would suggest...
