Anyone know the latest on woods? when will he be back? I fancy backing him in his initial event as i think he would want to come back with a bang. What do you reakon? regards Steve

The BBC golf news mid December said that Woods remains 'very confident' he will be competing in the Master in April. Whether he competes before that is another question.

I heard the same report. He is now capable of doing a full swing but doesn't want to rush back, which is understandable. The Masters is now looking like he could make it as his first competitive event of 2009 Russ

unless he is not doing his rehab properly he should be easily back to playing within 6 months following surgery.. big wuss!
