Dear TSGers,
After a fabulous day at Pine Ridge GC in Surrey, where not a single a drop of rain fell during our day, we can formally announce that our new TSG Matchplay Champion for 2018 is.....
Mr. Dave Short
Huge congratulations to Dave and commiserations to Ollie, who battled back twice from being three down to square the match on the 18th green, forcing two play-off holes.
However, it wasn't to be Ollie's day and Dave settled the tie on the 1st green at the second time of asking...
The Official Result was ALL Sq. after 19 holes with Short winning 2nd play-off hole.
Meanwhile, in the THIRD place play-off, Andy King was victortious over Brigitte Lockwood in a game that went to the 17th green!
More news to follow in the Nov TSG newsletter but in the meantime, please congratulate your new Champion!
Thanks to everyone that took part this year.

Well Done, Dave, Matchplay Champion !! You beat a great opponent in Ollie. He never gives up. I know Ian's organising skills would have been exemplary, as always. Wish I'd have been there. All The Best, Mark :-)

Mark , I think it is worth the wait as Ian Mullins has a wonderful new gadget & the pictures/film should be great.
