Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to play in Jacksonville, Fla this time of year?

Hi Norris, I don't know Jacksonville personally but I know a man who does! He said Windsor Park is a great course with great facilities but it's expensive and much better value is Bent Creek (which he said was great) and Hyde Park (apparently hilly !). Hope that helps

Bent Creek & Hyde Park are good inexpensive courses. Hyde Park is the course that Ben Hogan had a twelve on a par 3 hole. During the week at Hyde Park, you don't need a tee time. Just show up. In Orange Park, about 8 miles south of Bent Creek you have a nice course at Fleming Island. If money is no problem, travel south on I95 about 20 miles to the World Golf Village & play the King & THE Bear course.

You can also try The Champions Club in the Julington Creek area.

I remember driving from Jacksonville to Ponte Vedra Beach a few years ago. Cant remember how long it took but I dont think it was that far. Stayed at the Marriott Sawgrass and played at both their on-site courses, the most famous of which, is host to the Players Championship every year. Had a great time but it was quite expensive even in the low season. Marriott sometimes do offers though....
