OK golf buddies, looking for a golf venue for a 4 ball in July for a decent course and clubhouse/bar/evening entertainment somewhere within 1.5 hours of Weybridge?
Ideally Saturday overnight stay and Sunday.
Who’s been somewhere good?

Briggitte,  Seems Goodwood only do a 2 night break, as do some of the others we’ve looked at.
Only want somewhere we can play Saturday afternoon, stop over, then play Sunday morning.
Will keep researching.

Hi Ian, yes Old Thorns was a possibility, but looks like we're going for Dale Hill, as it has 2 courses, gets good reviews on here, and one of the guys has played it and liked it. Thanks both anyway.

Was about to recommend Dale Hill.  2 very different courses , very interesting.  Lovely hotel, use of small pool.
Food was very good and very friendly staff, always helpful.

That’s good David and  I thought I wrote a long Review when I played the 2 courses and stayed overnight last year for on of the Pine Tree Golf Society ‘ Member 80th Birthday. Must be in the “pending tray “.
I am sure you will enjoy and look forward to reading your review etc.

Kind regards
Brigitte
