Help please :
To those TSGers who have recently played at La Manga  Spain, could you give your opinion, review on the venue, course etc.
I was due to travel to Turkey for a golf holiday but now the organiser is changing the venue to La Manga.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thank you
Brigitte

 Hi Brigitte,
We played the North, South and West courses last month, staying in Las Lomas accommodation.
Everyone enjoyed the trip.
The Las Lomas accommodated is spacious. Plenty of bars and restaurants on site which weren't too expensive.
The courses were ok, considering the area had flooded a couple of weeks before the trip, they're also very busy. The shuttle service is quite slow, usually wait was 30-40 mins. It worked out quicker to walk.
We're looking at going back next year.

Thanks Ian, that is informative . I was worried about recent flooding and the state of the courses .

The only damage seemed to be debris on the paths, one bunker with water in it, the odd bit of soft areas on the course. One of the swimming pools by the Las Lomas apartments was closed.
I was in Murcia again last week and other courses in the area are still suffering.

Loved the trip ..... and would go back but having just come back from Marakkesh.... loved that too! The latter is better value for money overall and not much price difference so Morocco would win. I see you are going there soon. You will love it. Also golf in Marrakesh is faster. La Manga and Algarve is holiday golf pace ..... slow ..... waiting on tees and every shot but need to accept it
