Dear TSGers,

After a fabulous day at Addington Court GC in South London, where not a single a drop of rain fell during our day, we can formally announce that our new TSG Matchplay Champion for 2019 is.....

Mr. Andy King

Huge congratulations to Andy and commiserations to Roger Dickson (2103 winner), who took an early lead, lost it, fought back to all sq. on the 16th only to lose on the final hole!

The Official Result was King won by 1.

Meanwhile, in the THIRD place play-off, John Barber was victortious over Steve Slater in a game that went to the 18th green as well!

A BIG thank you to Brigitte Lockwood for here co-refereeing and for providing the blankets for the TSG team, it would have been a long cold day in the buggy without them.

More news to follow in the Nov TSG newsletter but in the meantime, please congratulate your new Champion!

Thanks to everyone that took part this year.

See you all again in 2020....

Ian & The TSG Event Team

Warm congratulations to the winners, it was a pleasure to be following you on every hole, thanks to the supporters who joined and Addington Court GC for its warm welcome.
The blankets were a good idea , it was rather cold, shame I lost my Lipbalm.....
Ian another well organised day, let's hope next year at final will be a little warmer
😃

Well done Andy. Great win. I well remember our quarter final match in 2017 which went to the last putt and I knew you would be a strong contender for the main prize.

High five John. Remembering how our match went to 19th. You are a fighter!

commissions to the runners up. Now sharpen those blades for 2020 revenge!

Jude - just back from an awesome golf break in Marakkesh
