These are the rules that have been instigated at my club, which seem pretty reasonable:

1. Anyone coming on to the premises must wash their hands upon arrival

2. Golf courses will remain open

3. Members and visitors of the golf club will be asked before playing to verbally agree to a
declaration covering their health, immediate hygiene and recent travel arrangements

4. When putting out, flags are to remain in the hole – no exceptions

5. Any person, member or visitor, who has flown into the UK within the past 10 days will
regrettably not be permitted on the premises

6. Bar areas will operate with a strict limit on numbers. Where possible, we will
encourage members and visitors to eat and drink on the patios

Having only just got back in time  ,  the border spain to portugal closed 1 day after i crossed,  i was thinking ok made it!!!!!    played two games,  then  bang,   today,  all  clubs are now shut,  you should not go out,  only to shop for  food,  or get drugs , if you get the virus its against the law to go out,   i am now thinking  wish i had stayed in the uk,   cant come back now as the borders are closed,  will give it a few weeks, and see what happens, both here and at home,  and on top of all that , this raining!!!!      anyone else have problems?

The sun shines brightly in Essex, golf courses mostly closed, Michael gove says golf is not an approved form of exercise (even though we are seldom closer than 6 feet apart). Restrictions are to be reviewed after 3 weeks... Tsg masters in jeopardy? On the plus side I did manage to buy toilet roll yesterday.

Well  as i said,  give it 2weeks,  and i have,  its clear now nobody is going any ware ,  the numbers are going up,  uk and here,  we have less  here in total numbers,  but that not the true facts,
If you take the number of cases  per mil of population  as of today  uk is 562,  portugal  is 970,  uk pop is about 60 to 70 mil,  portugal is only 10 mil,   the big point is we still dont know how high the numbers will get,  so all we,   all can do is watch and wait,   lets hope they start to fall soon, but i wonder how much it will need to inprove before we can travel, and play golf again,  if we can remember how?  maybe the rest will do us all good!!!  and we will all be better golfers,  sorry  just dreaming,  any way  so far  its not to bad!   we go out each day and walk the dogs,  and just think hope its over soon,  and we ALL  dont get to fat doing nothing,   keep well  roger
