Does anyone have a golf holiday booked with Your golf travel that has been impacted by the virus. If so, have you managed to get a cash refund?

 Didn't get a cash refund but got a credit note for the full amount for 28 players to rebook an event at a time to suit.

Hi Ian
Our trip to Pestana in April has been impacted. YGT gave me the following options:-

1. We could look into amending the dates to later in the year or into 2021.

2. We could look into a different destination whether that be UK or European based.

3. We could provide you with a credit note for the full balance of the trip and you would be able to use this once you wanted to book another golfing holiday once the scandal is over

4. If you wanted to cancel for a full refund we would be able to provide you with no show documents for you to claim the funds back through your personal insurance.

We have chosen to rebook the trip for the same time in 2021

Hi Michael, We have the same options from YGT. I've raised a case with ABTA to see if there's a possible cash refund.

Got our money back from YGT. 
A few of us got chatting on line and formed an antiYGT WhatsApp group. We then started attacking YGT on social media, posting reviews on Trust pilot, Twitter and Instagram etc.
Andrew Harding the founder of YGT got wind of this and approached the group. In the end we were paid off for removing all reviews and any negative comments about YGT.

A bit of blackmail seems to work, and YGT seem to have change their attitude.  I cancel a golfing trip to France fircthe Summer and YGT were more than helpful and had no problems getting what I asked for .
So, I shall certainly use YGT again in the near future, Covid19 free we hope
