BBC report that Shane Lowry is looking forward to a resumption of golf, believed to be proposed by PGA to be 11th June 2020, albeit without spectators. The proviso looks to be a resumption depending on keeping players safe, observing social distancing for example. For us TSG members, social distancing is usually a natural occurrence. Hopefully we can look forward to a return to courses, observing safe practice, for what is a rather splendid form of exercise. OK so it is a game that may not help the sanity of players, but we can all lobby local MPs to influence a swift return to local courses. Lots of space, lots of fresh air, some sunshine, all boosting immune systems. Sensible behaviour would be pre-requisite...

Rumour has it the Rory McIlroy will be participating in a televised 4 ball next Sunday in Florida. A chance to demonstrate that golf could resume with sensible precautions...
