I personally recommend GOLF PLAN, one of the few golf insurance where your golf  equipment is insured when left in your car overnight , obviously you will need to list what your own/carry fir your golf. There are various levels of cover too.  Worth looking at them & compare .
Also worth looking at your Home Contents insurance and see what it covers under Sports Equipment & away from home .
Best of luck and please keep us informed of your findings for future reference.
Regards
Brigitte.

Have a look at Golfcare, they offer a new for old policy, however may not be the cheapest. They used to offer 2 for 1 vouchers as part of joining.

I've gone with insure4sport this year. Have the 24 hour option so that it can all live covered in the back of the car. It's got worldwide/European cover for any trips. Cost was £32

Gone with GolfCare through Amrican golf. Four levels of cover available, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The last two are for golf holiday cover for Europe and worldwide respectively, shan't be needing that for the next year or so. Gone for the Silver cover which includes six Srixon golf balls and three free rounds at their partner courses. £27.

You are so right Paul - imagine hitting someone with a ball driven off the tee.... Is it worth the court case just to save £25/30?
