Has another course closed?

This was one of the regulars played by my friend and myself (I travel from Bexleyheath SE London) and friend from Newbury. All for golf! A3ish is the middle. Under the previous regime, there was always a bargain tee or two and there was a lot of potential. However, some parts of the course always seemed to have flooding issues, even in drought conditions. Since it was renamed, I think we only played it once. It appeared the club was trying to be somebody it wasn’t and fees became expensive for what you got.

Played here twelve months ago. They were difficult to talk to on the phone. They had no idea about a county card. The course was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon in May. And the state of the course left a lot to be desired. Crom Golf had their profits out of the place then passed it on to somebody who appears not to have had a suitable business plan, so if it's folded, I'd not be surprised.

No loss

Crown did their normal thing and made a good honest course bad....and the new owners made it worse

Shame
