If I want the Social Golfer to work out my handicap from the scorecards I put in here do I put in a starting handicap off 28 on my profile?

I put in my true handicap when I joined and then started to add some old scorecards, but it meant my handicap didn't adjust as it should have!

You should be able to put in any starting handicap. The system will then review any subsequent scorecards you submit and amend your handicap accordingly (as long as you ask it to! and as long as you had a 'marker' for your card who was known to TSG).
