 Recommendations please for good courses to play in the Essex area over the winter season.  Which courses cope best over this period.  I don't mind playing off of mats

Il be interested to see how South Essex holds up. Iv been playing a fair bit there recently and they're really pumping funds into it. Temp tees are being put in at the moment along with tracks for all the new carts.

reach out if anyone fancies a spontaneous 18 holes.

Courses that hold up well over winter include: Panshanger, pretty much dry all year round. Royal Epping/chingford a few damp spots Canonsbrook, toot hill all play well throughout the winter.
