a) Immaculate 
b) Not been well kept

 Basildon looked great for December, but then we've not had a really wet Autumn. Greens had been spiked and caught us out a few times but other than that very playable.

Have to agree with Martin.

Nice that the clubhouse is in full swing. A lot could learn from them

Brentwood, played today walked off after 9 holes as only had 160yds visibility due to fog, very slow play and cold

Greens good
Astro Tees - Variable mainly muddy
Fairways boggy in places, bring a spare pair of trousers

The Hertfordshire appears to be under new management - shop staff more friendly and the bar staff even opened the door to say come in (didn't take him up as due out). Exceptionally boggy, carry or pull trollies. Rack rate weekdays is now £37 and £30 for members guests - I think it's a tad overpriced, but that is what courses are at present getting away with.
