IMPORTANT - Emails Being Blocked...FIXED! Options

Dear TSGers,

It has been brought to our attention that some of you may NOT be receiving our email notifications (Big thanks to Roger Akerman for spotting this first)...

 

And having carried out some tests throughout today, we believe Outlook, Hotmail and Live accounts are being affected.

 

We have reported the issue to Microsoft IMMEDIATELY, as we see no justification for this.

 

Our guess it is as a result of spam file issue but we'll know more soon...

Hi All,

Just to say we have implemented what we hope to be a solution to the above email issues.

However, we'll need to wait until the 'fix' has been configured by Mircosoft.

As such, if all goes to plan, we hope to have things fixed by this evening.

Many thanks to those affected by this issue and for your patience while we get this resolved.

Still getting nothing in on my Outlook a/c..... Good old Microsoft (some say!)

Hi TSGers,

So, after a quick response for our developers and server hosts, we believe this issue is now resolved and all Outlook, Hotmaill and Live emails accounts should now be receiving notifications from TSG.

However, we will no doubt continue to fight against things going to spam file.

One thing members can do to prevent this ocurring, is to add our email address to your approved contacts list.

Just cut and paste - theteam@thesocialgolfer.com - into your email provider contacts and hopefully that will ensure you continue to recieve our updates.

Thanks for you patience and support while we resolved this matter.

Right...now we can get back to all things golf!
