Pick a ball that you are confident with when putting. Often this will be a soft feel ball.
Soft feel ball may be a little wild when the ground is hard, all to do with compression ratios and physics. Newton's third law plays a part.
A faster swing may not make best use of a soft feel ball (not so much time to allow effective compression?)
That pro v1 might be the ball for you, but then again not for me.

I’ve tried most Steve, but find for a slow swing speed the Srixen Tour AD 333 is a great all rounder. It’s a step up from the basic AD 333. You can pick them up online for circa £20 a dozen. They have been superseded by the Q Star which is £30 a dozen but basically the same ball. It’s great off the tee not super long but holds its line. It stops on the green pretty well and is a lovely ballto putt with.

I am fond of the old callaway supersoft which seem to putt OK, not extra long off the tee but suit a slower swing speed as well.
I have a sleeve of the srixon ball and will experiment with them when the situation allows.

I think the choice is soft or hard....or if you like the distance and the spin (feel) then a mid compression....
I don't think anyone would notice the difference between a decent brand of similar compression....I think I could notice hard or soft difference...but doubt it makes any performance difference.
Personally....pro v1x in a comp....anything in a social...but I tend to prefer softer personally
