I watched the Masters on Friday evening and Justin Rose was joint first but when I checked again last night (Saturday) he was about 15th at +4.  Does anyone know what happened?

Ah, well aside from the fact you both lost money on him, it would seem that indeed he did choke on the Friday round (probably caught the BBC commentary when they were reporting the statistic that he's never won a tournament where he's led on the first day.  The boy needs some 'calm all' (still won't win but he won't care...).

Hi Pete,

Glad to say I had a little wager on Trevor I. and I was mad enough to take the odds WITH WOODS so got an extra 45 points for being brave. We played Wrotham Heath (Ann & I) on Monday and it was superb, greens were true and fast.

I hear your all BOOM BOOM boys ! so there would a couple of holes at Wrotham where you could be putting for eagle twos !!!!

Good luck on the course

Regards

Bob

Well I'm glad someone got something out of poor Mr Rose emulating the apple crumble.  as for myself I was glad to see a non-american win but would have preferred a european and would definitely have preferred a brit !

Glad you guys had a good time at Wrotham, it's a lovely little course just a bit tight as I recall (used to be a 9 hole before they bought some extra land across the road).  Wish you guys well for the open doubles comp at Princes (I've never played it so I'd welcome what you think of the course).

Finally, as for Boom, Boom boys I'd like to resemble that statement but the reality is I don't ! (I suspect your info comes from Ann, I didn't have the pleasure of playing in the same four-ball as her and if I had she would have seen that I'm used to being out driven, regularly...).
