In the event of a game posted on the TSG site that is not a completed round (for whatever reason) how is this going to be monitored. For example a matchplay event may not get to end at hole 18. Holes are sometimes conceded (so shouldn't count for either stroke or stableford).
If for example a hole is not completed (I.e. putts may be conceded but not holed) does the stroke/stableford score count?
Some social games turn out to be 4 ball better ball s when an individual score may not be counted.
Some games may turn out to be foursomes.
Should every game posted on TSG site be limited to stroke/stableford individual effort ?
Can there be a way to identify rounds that are other than stroke/stableford individual effort ?
For scores to count toward handicap, should every hole be completed (putted to conclusion) ?
Why not investigate combining TSG handicaps with England Golf handicaps. The same questions above would apply.

Or do we record every TSG posted round and elect not to include some rounds from handicap calculations?.

Hi Steve,
As mentioned on a previous thread, this is all being discussed, debated, tested by the team, as we speak.
However, with regards to linking up with England Golf, I don't think that is an option as they are keen on promoting their own handicap offering, which as I am sure you know is being priced at £40pa ,and there is no gaurantee these will be accepted by Golf Clubs in Open comps either.
Rest assured, we will outline our rationale behind this initiative in full before launching this officially.
Happy Golfing!
