Brilliant day at the Shire yesterday, incredibly inspiring and humbling to see men and women with various disabilities playing such good golf. Myself, SteveS and Pete M played with a very partially sighted guy called Britton. What a great guy, he had a big heart attack at 40, then a kidney transplant, then went blind, but had a great big smile on his face all day and said he was just happy to be alive doing the thing he loves doing most, amazing.
Thanks to Ian and the team for the chance to take part.

Cheers Dave!
I would like to say thank you to TSGers Dave, Steve Slater, Pete Mayo, Mark Crane and Paul Houghton for supporting
The Cairns Cup Pro-Am day yesterday!
No silverware this time but lots of awareness of disability golf raised, as well as much needed funds. Thank you guys!

An amazing day, proving that there is nothing that can stop golfers.  We played with Britton Munoz, who was making the trip from Oregon.  Outstanding short game, good hitting for visually impaired golfer with great humour.  An event well organised made the venue so much better.
It was a bit breezy so a long and tiring day.

Inspirational and a reminder that everything is more than possible except landing on the green at the 17th hole.
