Hi Barry

I've used www.insure4sport.co.uk/ for the last three years. They are little dearer, but cover me for Europe/North Africa and also mean as long as everything is out of site in the car, I need never take anything out.
Cost this year was £40 and basically covers everything - hole in one as well, but only if it is a legit handicap comp (sorry TSG doesn't count!)
(Won't cover my Stewart trolley)

I use GOLFPLAN.  Different level of cover, you choose.  Also covers my golf equipment  , clubs etc in my car overnight .
Check it out.

Peter uses Golf Care but he has different needs from me.

Go to the comparison website .

Let us know Joe you get on .

Regards

Brigitte

Thanks Brigitte I'll have a look at one of the comparison websites. Interesting they won't insure your stewart trolley John! I nearly bought the q remote but found a place in Birmingham that supplied me a motocaddy m7 for a lot less than anywhere I'd seen by almost £300 hence me looking for insurance.thank you both for your advise I'll keep you informed. 👍

Hi guys, so I spent an hour or so looking at some of the different insurance quotes out there and to be fair most are fairly similar. All the companies that have been suggested were all good quotes. Having said that I went for sports cover direct it's a 3 min no hassle website just select your sport and level of cover (I went for the gold cover) and cost me £33. I won't go into all the details of cover as it's quicker if you look yourselves but for £33 I think it should be mandatory everyone has some sort of cover, not for clubs and trolleys or hole in one, but for your fellow golfer and your own health. One other thing if you decide to join igolf for WHS I think your covered for liability insurance. Hope this helps anyone looking for insurance.
Ps if I do ever manage a hole in one the drinks are on me.! Cheers
