Yesterday i played at Farleigh .
Have played there a few times over the last few months, but yesterday my wife noticed this bench on the 8th Tee box on the Blue course.
She said oh my god this chap was so young when he died.
It was a BENCH for ROBIN BUTLER.
A really nice guy taken from us and his family to early.
A silent pray was said.
So if any of you play at Farleigh in the future be sure to sit on ROBINS seat on the 8th Tee box on the Blue course.

It's a beautiful gesture to have a place where people can remember and honor him.

I played there a month ago and sat on Robins bench. Robin was one of the first people I met and played with when I joined the TSG. A very special man.

I remember Robin - played with him many times - so sad to read this as he was a lot younger than me.
