I having got back into golf recently and I'm currently using ben sayers M9 clubs and I am on the lookout for new clubs that are gonna last a whilst for me as I have had these a whilst now and looking to invest on new clubs.
Currently I have been looking on the american golf UK site and have picked out 4 different sets from their web page that I like having looked a video reviews etc on youtube and various sites using google, I really can't decide.
Does anyone on here have these clubs or can help me windle out some of them via pro's/con's on experience with them etc I would be most grateful.
these sets are..
Callaway warbird 14-piece set
Callaway Mavrik driver and wood set with Mavrik steel golf Irons
Taylormade Stealth driver and wood set with the M4 Irons
Cobra speedzone s driver and woods to match and then the King SZ Irons to match
Wilson dynopower driver and wood set with the dyno steel Irons set to match
Ping G425 driver and woods set with matching Irons
lastly what do you think about adding these wedges 52° 56° 60°
Either the Taylormade milled grind steel wedge or the Titleist SM8 Vokey ones or the Callaway MD5 Jaws ones.
Thanks for reading and any input will be much appreciated.

Hi Wayne,
I wouldn't get to worried about what brand you buy, most manufactueres produce good quaility equipment.
The key thing is get clubs that are right for you.
In addition, do you need 14 clubs? And there are many more factors to consider, Shafts, Grips, loft & Lie..
I would also consider a bag of multiple brands, as modern Wedges and Drivers are very different to irons.
Finally, there's nothing like getting a club in your hand, so try as many as you can before committing.
That said, if you used to play off 12, you'll know what feels right for you.
Given the reference to your Bike accident on your profile, maybe speak with TSGer Paul Houghon (disabled golfer) and ask his advice, as he has just had a custom-made set of clubs built just for him (having being properly fitted) and for less £1k.

Hope that helps.

Good Morning Wayne
If you are looking at American Golf, then go for a free custom fitting session. I highly recommend the store at Greenwich Pennisula, the three lads there (Paul, Paul and Zacj(spelt correctly) are all qualified fitters and not just be shown the ropes, like some golf stores. I have invested in new clubs in the last 12 months and there knowledge and working with you is just great.

Hey Wayne, I agree with the others. Getting fitted is key! I recently did it myself, and it made a huge difference in my game. As for wedges, the Vokeys are fantastic, but if you get a chance to try them all, that’s the best way to find what suits you.
