Dear TSGers,
Yesterday saw us supporting disability golf at @theshirelondon for @TheCairnsCup fundraiser with Kris Aves (the Policeman injured in the Westminster Bridge Terrorist Attack).
The Social Golfer are sponsors and supporters and entered two teams including Paul Houghton, Marky Mark, Gary Wilson, Steve Hunt, Steve Slater Duane Cleaver, Damian Benstead and Steve Slater.
Sadly, none us were troubling the top slots but and I can confirm the results of yesterday's event was as follows:
1st - Lime Contenders (Kris Aves Team) = 96 Pts (!!!!)
15th - The Cairns Cup Team = 77 pts
16th - TSG Team 1 (Paul Houghton, Damian Benstead, Duane Cleaver & Steve Slater) = 74 Pts
17th - TSG Team 2 (Marky Mark, Bob Syrad, Steve Hunt & Gary Wilson = 73 Pts
19th - The Media Team (Ian Mullins + 3) = 65 Pts (oh dear)
22 teams took part (!!)
Which I think demonstrates... more people need to be using the TSG Handicap System!!
Over £10K raised and more importantly Disability Golf was in the spotlight! #CairnsCUp2024 #GetTheTeamToMichigan
