Your review and experience astounds me Garry. I've not heard of this one before. I'm not familiar with the Druids, but do they resemble track suit type trousers with a draw chord around the waist. Or are they the wet waterproofs over your normal playing attire? Not that justifying them evicting you from the course. I'm astounded the marshal and pro just give you a polite reminder to not wear them next time you visited if the trousers were that offensive 🤷 I'm astounded of their actions in these more relaxed enlighten days.

Druids wet gear ? you cant play here
if you want to play in Druids wet trousers and you have no zip in the front you cant play this course
turned up paid our money. ( you do need hedge hog wheels in the winter ) had a putt. got called over by the starter and after a few minutes of chatting he said there was a problem ? you have no zip in the front of your trousers, cheap sh*t he said.( thought ha was joking ) but no he escorted us back to the pro shop and give us our money back. spoke to a few members and they had never heard of it.

Not wishing to sound cynical but when has there ever been a starter at Mardyke valley?

Very true Dave, can't ever recall one myself. Are they suddenly getting above themselves by introducing a starter and an upmarket dress code 🏌️🤷

All resolved, you can now wear wet weather trousers at MV even if they don't have a zip at the front.
